Badges are colored labels that can be assigned to guests to indicate seating preferences or special requirements — for example, "Window Seat", "High Chair", or "Outdoor".
Creating Custom Preference Labels
In Settings → Badges, add a new label by typing the name and saving. Each label becomes a selectable option on the guest entry form (both staff-added and QR entries).
How It Works
- When adding or editing a guest, staff can select one or more badges from the list you have defined.
- Guests joining via QR code can also select their preferences if the Preferences field is enabled in QR Scan settings.
- Badges appear as colored chips on each guest's row in the Waitlist and Reservation tabs, giving staff an instant visual cue.
- Badges can also be mapped to Quick Chat answers — when a guest selects a specific Quick Chat response, the matching badge is automatically applied to their record.
