Each reservation moves through a status flow as staff take action. The typical path is:
Pending → Confirmed → Completed
Or, if the guest is walked in to the waitlist first:
Pending → Confirmed → Checked In (Waitlist) → Completed
Confirming a Reservation
Tap Confirm on a reservation row to mark it as Confirmed. Use this to acknowledge the booking and let the team know the guest is expected.
The Confirmed badge replaces the Pending badge on the row.
Checking In a Guest
When a guest with a reservation arrives, tap Check In. This moves the guest from the Reservation tab to the Waitlist tab with a Reservation Check-In source badge.
Their name, party size, phone, and notes carry over automatically. From this point, the guest is managed through the normal waitlist flow.
Completing a Guest Directly
If your workflow does not use the waitlist, tap Complete on the reservation row to mark the guest as completed without moving them to the waitlist first.
The reservation moves to the Completed tab.
Cancelling a Reservation
Tap Cancel on a reservation row to remove it from the active list. The reservation moves to the Completed tab with a Cancelled status.
Use this when a guest does not show up, or when they request to cancel.
