Moving a Guest to Reservation

If a waiting guest would prefer a reservation instead, you can move them without re-entering their details.

  1. Open the guest's detail panel.
  2. Tap Move to Reservation.
  3. Set the reservation date and time.
  4. Tap Confirm — the guest is removed from the waitlist and added to the Reservation tab.

Their name, party size, phone, and notes carry over automatically.

Paged-Only Filter

When the waitlist is busy, the Paged Only toggle (top of the Waitlist tab) filters the view to show only guests who have been paged or called. This helps staff focus on guests who are ready to be seated without losing track of them in a long queue.

Tap the toggle again to return to the full list.

Sending a WhatsApp Message

If WhatsApp is configured as your messenger channel, a WhatsApp button appears on each guest's row.

  1. Tap the WhatsApp button on the guest's row or in their detail panel.
  2. Select a predefined message template from the list.
  3. The message opens in WhatsApp Web (or the WhatsApp app on mobile) with the guest's number and message pre-filled.
  4. Send from WhatsApp.
WhatsApp messages are sent manually through WhatsApp — isReserved does not send messages automatically on your behalf.
