When WhatsApp is configured as your branch's messenger channel, you can send predefined message templates directly from the waitlist and reservation tabs.
Sending a Message
- Locate the guest on the Waitlist or Reservation tab.
- Tap the WhatsApp button on the guest's row or inside their detail panel.
- A list of predefined message templates appears — select the one you want to send.
- WhatsApp Web opens in a new tab (or the WhatsApp app opens on mobile) with the guest's number and the message already filled in.
- Review the message and tap Send in WhatsApp.
isReserved does not send WhatsApp messages automatically. All messages are sent manually by staff through WhatsApp.
Predefined Templates
Message templates are configured in Settings → Features → Waitlist → Messenger Channel. Each template can include placeholders that are filled in automatically when the message is prepared:

Templates are defined once in Settings and available to all staff at that branch.
When WhatsApp Is Not Configured
If no messenger channel has been set up, the WhatsApp button does not appear on guest rows. Contact your Admin to configure a messenger channel in Settings.
