Troubleshooting Common Issues

I Can't Log In

Symptom: The login screen appears but signing in with Google fails or loops.

  • Make sure you are using the same Google account that was used when your invite was accepted.
  • Check that your browser allows third-party cookies — Google login requires them.
  • Try opening the app in an incognito window to rule out extension conflicts.
  • If the issue persists, contact your Admin to confirm your account is active.

The Waitlist or Reservation List Is Not Updating

Symptom: Guests added by another staff member do not appear, or status changes are not reflected.

  • isReserved uses a live WebSocket connection to sync changes in real time. Check your internet connection.
  • Reload the page — a disconnected session recovers automatically on refresh.
  • If the issue continues, check if other staff are experiencing the same problem. A temporary server issue may be affecting the connection.

Guests Are Not Receiving Pages

Symptom: You tap Page on a guest, but they report not seeing any notification.

  • The guest must have their confirmation page open on their device for pages to appear. If they have closed the browser tab, the notification will not reach them.
  • Ask the guest to reopen the confirmation link they received when they scanned the QR code.

The QR Code Is Not Working

Symptom: Guests scan the QR code but get an error or the page does not load.

  • Check that the QR code displayed in the app is current — tap the refresh icon or wait for the 30-second auto-refresh.
  • Verify that your branch's guest page (slug) is correctly configured in Settings → Store Page Setup.
  • If the QR code leads to a 404 or error page, check that your slug does not contain any invalid characters.

I Do Not See a Setting or Tab I Expect

Symptom: The Reservation tab, Settings menu, or a specific option is not visible.

  • Your role may not have access to that area. Staff cannot access Settings; only Managers and Admins can. See Role Permissions at a Glance.
  • The feature may be disabled. Admins can enable the Reservation tab and other features in Settings → Features.

WhatsApp Messages Are Not Opening

Symptom: Tapping the WhatsApp button does not open WhatsApp Web or the WhatsApp app.

  • Make sure you are logged in to WhatsApp Web in your browser, or have the WhatsApp app installed on your mobile device.
  • Check that the guest's phone number is stored in a valid international format (e.g., +1 555 0100).
  • If the number is missing, edit the guest's details and add the phone number before trying again.
