WhatsApp message templates can include placeholders that are automatically replaced with guest or branch data when the message is prepared.
Available Placeholders

Example Template
Hi {name}, your table for {party_size} at {branch_name} is ready. Please proceed to the host stand.
When sent to a guest named Sarah with a party of 4 at The Corner Bistro, the message becomes:
Hi Sarah, your table for 4 at The Corner Bistro is ready. Please proceed to the host stand.
Notes
- Placeholders are case-sensitive — use lowercase with curly braces exactly as shown above.
- If a guest's name or phone number was not recorded, the placeholder may be left blank or skipped depending on your template. Always check guest details before sending.
- Templates are configured in Settings → Features → Waitlist → Messenger Channel.
